Both Africa and America experienced colonization from Europe and had massive influence. Well the similarities were that both had demographic changes when Europeans arrived in these two regions. New plants and animals were introduced and there was also political disruption. Europeans made efforts to spread Christianity both in America and Africa. Weapons were also introduced and trade occurred as well in both these regions (Week 4 Sources, 100). All these were similarities but the major difference between the two was the magnitude of the influence Europe had on these two.
